Summer Admits

Congratulations on your admission for the Summer Term. Now that you have been admitted, there are several things you will need to do before coming to campus in June.

1. Pay the $300 enrollment deposit

This deposit guarantees your spot in the freshman class and triggers many other processes for you to become an enrolled student. If you don’t pay the enrollment deposit, or do not have it waived by the University, you will not be able to sign up for orientation and register for classes.

2. Get your uniqname

Your uniqname is your official University of Michigan computing account and email address.  Once the University receives your Enrollment Deposit, it takes about 2 days before you will be able to set up your uniqname, and it may take another 24-48 hours for your uniqname to officially become active.

3. Sign up for and attend orientation.

Use the navigation to the left to learn more about the orientation programs.  You must have a uniqname before you can sign up for orientation.

Attention students admitted to Summer Bridge: Summer Bridge students do not attend ONSP's Summer Term Orientation. Your orientation program will be coordinated directly by the Summer Bridge Program.
