Welcome to the University of Michigan Family!

Thank you for supporting your student’s decision to attend the University of Michigan. We believe that parents and family members are an important source of encouragement and support as students enter the university.

Parent & Family Virtual Orientation Course - Winter

The Office of New Student Programs (ONSP) Parent & Family Virtual Orientation Course provides you, the family members of incoming first-year and transfer students, the opportunity to learn about campus resources, policies and procedures, and how to support your student during the transition to U-M. This course serves as your general introduction to the University of Michigan and complements the information provided by your student's individual school or college academic information for families.

You can access the ONSP Parent & Family Virtual Orientation Course online by creating a guest login.

Note there is a timer on the videos and slides. We have placed the family-specific content before the student content on this course.
