The Transfer Connections program matches up groups of new transfer students (15 to 20 in the fall, five to 10 in the winter) with one upper-level Transfer Connections peer mentor (TCPM).

The Transfer Connections peer mentor (TCPM) role is a paid position for fall and winter terms. The position begins in August with training dates during the preceding winter and summer terms. Mentors work approximately eight hours per week. Only undergraduate students with experience as a transfer student at the University of Michigan will be considered.
